 Hi,

I am not sure I am posting this on the right board..there are so many to choose from.

Anyways, we are going to WDW in Nov. and Jan. and we would like to go when the crowds are as light as possible. I thought the week after Thanksgiving was pretty slow, after the Thanksgiving crowds have dispersed, but I am not positive. Does anyone have experience with this time? Is there a better week in Nov.?

I know that January is generally a very slow month at WDW. How about the week of Martin Luther King Day? I assume just that weekend is busy, wasn't sure if anyone could give more insight.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

we found that november is quite nice, January is just a little busier, but december... is heaven.

I have never been there in Nov. but I have family members that have and they loved it, they say the week after Thanksgiving was Great. They say there were no lines at all. I have always done the 2nd week of Jan. thru the end of Jan. The crowds were light and I don't remeber ever having to wait for any rides. I have done other months with crowds and when I need a break from the crowds I go back to staying in Jan.

My friend went that week after December and she said it was a great time to go. I don't know anything about January.

We go the week after Thanksgiving every year. We have been other times too, but always love the after Thanksgiving slow down. Most people have headed back to school so weekdays are great. Often we are able to walk right on or ride twice without getting off. The parks are already decorated for Christmas and so its festive. If you haven't seen Christmas at Disney you must! MVMCP is a hit too!

Weather is not bad either. Some jacket days and some rain but nothing terrible. My kids still get to swim.

Its also choice/adventure season which saves on hotel rates. Overall, its the best week to go! Have fun!

Try this website, it all the days plus best park and parkd to stay away from.

We will be there the week after Thanksgiving. This is our first trip to WDW (although we traditionally go to Disneyland during that week and the crowds are minimal and we love the decorations). All of the guide books list this as a slow time, but we have noticed that each year at Disneyland the crowds get a little bigger. Maybe the word is getting out.

Anyway here's hoping for great weather and little crowds.
