Hi everyone! Can someone give me a hint on what to expect for the crowds next week at DL and the weather, what is it like right now? The weather channel says highs in the 60's to 70 would that be a warm 60-70 or a cool 60-70? I'm coming from the east Coast and right now we've been in the 60's a few times in the past few weeks but it's been cold 60's not warm like in the spring. A bit confusing aren't I?:confused3

Thanks for any help.

It usually means the coldest it can get is 60 and the warmest it can get is 70. The hours for the park is cut short by an hour. so i think they are expecting some crowd but not as much as winter break.

Thanks Albort but what I meant by the weather question is even thought the actual temp may read 70 will it feel warm or will their be a chill in the air because the sun isn't as strong in the winter. I knew I wasn't presenting the question properly. Thanks for the info on the crowds.

at this time, its too early to tell... ask when it gets closer... right now, im freezing...

What part of Connecticut are you in? We used to live in Wilton.

We are in Arizona now. I would say the weather is probably comprable to what you are having. You really wouldn't want to walk around with short sleeves and no jacket, although there is an occassional day where it is warm enough to.

Night is cold - going down as low as about 40. I don't think there is any major change expected in the weather in the next week.

Plan for layers and definitely bring warm clothing for the evening. If you're lucky, you might get a couple of days where you are warm enough for short sleeves, but I doubt you will be needing shorts.

Crowds are very low but forget that man!!!!! Splash Mountain will be closed:eek: won't it??? I would change the dates for my trip if it was me just because Splash would be closed and that's my favorite ride!!!

If you are used to cooler climates right now, then jeans and t shirt keeps you comfortable during the day when the sun is out. Mornings can be a bit overcast so feel cooler (on the flip side, a bright sunny day can somtimes mean quite a chill in the air). If it is overcast, the locals tend to stay home in favor of better weather. It gets COLD once the sun starts to set, and we break the jackets (and sometimes a second layer of shirts) out of the lockers at that point. Gloves can be nice to have at that point too.

It just depends on what your comfort level is. Confusing enough :confused3 :rotfl: For me, if my hands, shoulders, and feet are warm I'm fine (so, 2nd pair of socks, light jacket, and gloves).

When we go in Nov-January we pack layers. We also plan to purchase a sweatshirt if needed.

We were there in late Jan last year. Crowds low. As for weather, we worn jeans, with short sleeved shirts and long sleeves over that. In the am it was good with long sleeves, but by afternoon we were down to short sleeves, only thing was at night watching parades, we were cold, need a jacket for that.........You will have a great time.....
