We want to attend HHN next year; but, it looks like the only date we can attend will be 10/31 (which will be a Sunday). Can anyone tell me how the crowds were this year or what we can expect next year on Halloween?

Thanks!

Crowds were surprisingly light on the 31st. Probably due to a lot of competition from costume parties and contests. Next year I would imagine with the 31st being on a Sunday, it will be a light crowd also.

Saturday night was a much larger crowd. BTW, your's truly worked the ENTIRE night Saturday. I worked A cast as the Caretaker in the mirror gag, and B cast as the Caretaker in the Parlor. Eight hours straight without a break (except for the 15 minutes I was filling out an incedent report to get a punk kid tresspassed out of the park).

Chainsawwolf,

Thanks for your post. It sounds like 10/31 might be a good date to go after all.

I can't believe you were the Caretaker. When we went last year, the Caretaker was my daughters favorite. She still talks about it and has a Caretaker T-shirt.

I was there with my daughter.
Crowds we're light. We did the stay and scream, which helped alot. Waited about 20 minutes for Fear House Revisited, which is the big one on the sound stage. The rest we're all walk thrus.
I posted a TR here.

Everyone entering the park seems to head right to Fear House Revisited and it seems to be the one with the longest line. That's ok, if you're in the Stay and Scream area, you get two houses done, do Fear House, then continue clockwise and the last 3 houses in the JP area have short waits.

I'd predict next year will have light crowds since it is on a Sunday night.
The day after Halloween was really empty at USF, with a short line for Neutron and Shrek.

I'd say to go ahead and plan the trip.

That's weird. Normally the 31st is the busiest day. Glad you guys got to enjoy the parks!!!

We were there on Oct 3 for the first night and the crowds were really light then too. We walked on most everything.
