crowds during the day of MVMCP

Has anyone been to MK during the day of a MVMCP? I'm wondering how crowd levels are? Do people who don't have tickets for the party NOT go to MK during the day because they know they'll have to leave early? Thanks

We went to the MK the morning/afternoon of Dec. 16th 2004 (that was a thursday) and there was a MVMCP that night. The park had no crowds in the morning/afternoon. Space Mt. was a walk on. I don't know if it would be the same on a Friday or Saturday though.
