Crowds during Thanksgiving

I'm trying to figure out which week to plan our trip for.
Hubby says the first week in December has been good to us in the past but I would have to take the kids out of school and with them being in Jr High now I'm not so keen on that.
The week before they have most of the week off so if we went then they would only miss a day or two.
How crazy are the few days before, the day of and the weekend after Thanksgiving?

By Sunday after Thanksgiving, the crowd level drops down to 4.
