Crowds during President's week?

We are going to Disney next year during President's Day week (2/14-2/21/09). I won't pull my kids out of school and I decided on February vs. the April vacation (Easter) hoping crowds would be SOMEWHAT better. Anyone with experience during this week? Tips?

Hi,

As with any question about crowds, you are likely to get the following two posts among your replies:

Post 1: We went at that time last year and the crowds were great! We walked onto everything!

Post 2: We went at that time last year and we will never do that again! The crowds were horrible!

But the bottom line is...President's Day week is quite busy, especially Saturday through Thursday. It's one of the five or six busiest weeks of the year.

We've done both times. I would say it all depends on when your April break is. If it is either the week directly before or after Easter, I would say President's week is better, if you can move a week away from Easter, then the crowds become much more manageable (although still crowded).

Both times are going to be crowded, as many of us know (my DW is a teacher, so those are the times we can go too). But if you just don't go in planning on doing everything in one day, and remember that you're at WDW, you'll have a wonderful time.

We went once during Presidents week and I dont think we would do it again. We are going in September so hopefully it will be nice then. Although it will be hot.

Hey I went in 2004, we went a little early and it was great but the weekend of Prezs was pretty bad lots of people.
