Crowds during Disney Run?

We are looking to honeymoon at Disney the week of May 14, 2017. I saw online that that is also the week after the Tinkerbell half-marathon. Should we be expecting crazy crowds?

We are looking to honeymoon at Disney the week of May 14, 2017. I saw online that that is also the week after the Tinkerbell half-marathon. Should we be expecting crazy crowds?

The Tinkerbell Half Marathon will be held at Disneyland, not WDW. Which one were you considering visiting for your honeymoon?

But in general, no, the races don't bring crazy crowds. Just crazy runners . Mid-May is a great time to visit either park. Congratulations!!

The crowds do tend to get a little bigger, but it seems to crowd at the more adult parks, AK, Epcot. Mostly wherever you can get get wine or beer.

But they thin out noticeable after the races are over - Monday mainly. Best idea is to go early because the runners are still going, and any early finishers are limping back to hotel rooms to rest up.

Afternoons are more likely to bring the crowds with rested runners.
