Crowds during 11/7-11/11

I might, MIGHT be attending a conference with the hubby 11/7-11 (as in next month) and would like to possibly use this as a first time visit for my 2 year old and 4 year old. Is this a terribly busy time of year? I know that the Food and Wine Festival is taking place but it looks to be a bit slow otherwise. Any ideas? Thanks!

There really is no slow time anymore. That time in Nov keeps getting more and more crowded each year - and this year, I will be there that week and there is so much going on and I am anticipating bigger crowds because of it... F&W, Wine and Dine Half Marathon is that weekend, Jersey Week, Free Dining. I would be shocked if it wasn't busy.

I have to disagree that there is no slow time anymore, but early November I do agree is not one with Food & Wine.

We just went the last week of August, and it was very slow. One day, Soarin' had literally no wait all day.

11/11 is always Veterans Day, a Federal Holiday.
Some people might book a few days before or after this date, this year it falls on a Wed.

We just went the last week of August, and it was very slow. One day, Soarin' had literally no wait all day.

I was going to add that unless you go the last week of August into September, but that is about it. November used to be such a great time to go and now it is almost as bad as summer, well it is getting there at least!

Our local schools don't even have off on Veterans Day this year- I thought that was odd! I'm not sure if they are using that for a snow day or what, but usually they have off... not this year.
