Our next trip to WDW is Dec. 15th thru 22nd at the BCV. It has been a few years since we have been during this week and were wondering about recent year crowd levels especially with the MVMCP. I know it will start getting very crowded the Friday we leave, but what kind of wait times will we see (we have been spoiled by September and January trips).

Also, is the number of tickets sold to the MVMCP the same as the MNSSHP?

Thanks,

I think it may be pretty crowded as the last two weeks of Dec can be. I believe the number of MVMCP tickets are the same number as MNSSHP. Make sure you have a plan, all your ADR's set, and take advantage of morning EMH's and make sure to arrive at park opening to aviod crowds.

We went this past Dec from the 17th-22nd. We walked on everything except Soarin. We had a great time. We went to the very last MVMCP and had a ball. We rode on rides several times in a row without having to get off. The only ride that had a wait was Space Mountain. The weather was up and down. One day we are in short sleeves and the next day we are layered in sweatshirts, but it was never uncomfortable. It only rained twice and those were very short lived. I did not find the parks to be crowded at all. In fact, if it wasn't for the weird Christmas break schedule my school district planned ( I teach) we would be going back the same week this year.

Oh, and we never made it to a park at opening. We even rode Dumbo with only a 10 min wait tops and it was probably 10:00 before we even got in the park.

We're planning on going at the same time and I was not expecting it to be crowded at all. Here's hoping....

I am going similar dates and plan on having a grand ol time depite rain, crowds or whatever else! Of course deep down inside I was hoping that with so many people going during the free dining thing, it will take the stress off a little before Christmas. Wishful thinking pixiedust:

You are going to have a blast. That time of the year is the best.
The decorations are wonderful. The holiday dressed characters are cute.
I think crowds will be lighter at the beginning of your trip and get heavier toward the end, but it's still not bad. You'll have a blast.

I'm jealous. I have to wait until 2007 to go back in December.

I'll be right there with you enjoying every bit of it .

I was told the the last few days of OCT was busy as well and it was just fine .I'm use to going in mid-june so so it was nice to not having the heat .
I leave in 14 days for our summer trip and might try to sneek an Oct trip in on cash.

I think once we do the MVMCP we will alternate that and MNSSHP each year on points Love the DVC.
