I'm new here to the boards. I am planning to stay at Pop Resort on Spring Break 2008. I am wondering how the crowds are at Spring Break time. We stayed off property on our last DIsney trip and we kept getting lost on International Drive so we're staying on property this time. Seems like Pop is a great place according to these boards and I love looking at the pics!!

Hope you enjoy crowds, long waits for rides and difficulty getting dining reservations - typical for the Spring Break time of year. Yes, it will be busy.

We do spring break and it is fine. Do not be worried. There will be many that try and scare you away from that time, but it is manageable WITH A PLAN. Keep reading the boards, get some tips, use fast pass, take afternoon breaks at the hotel and you will be fine. Yes, it is crowded. No doubt. But Does it make the experience less magical - NO. We love it and are going back in spring break 2008 as well.

You will have a great time. We have never stayed at Pop, but there are many that enjoy it.

Spring Break can be crowded, but it can still be done. It also depends on when you go during the spring break time. Typically the most crowded will be the week before and the week after Easter. It is not as bad before or after that. It seems many schools have break around the Easter time. Colleges will stream in and out in March and part of April, depending on when their break is. We have always gone during spring break and have been able to have plenty of reservations to restuarants and ride all the rides we wanted. The great thing about spring break is that they have later park hours, some earlier ones as well. It is warm enough for water parks and the pools so you can have a great time relaxing at your resort if it gets too hectic. Relax, planning is key you will do fine. Make sure you make your table reservations to ensure you will get to eat at all the places you want. You can start at 180 days (from the start of your trip) making your ressies if you are going to be at a Disney resort.

Check out my trip report (link in sig) and you can read about how we had a great time with no problems during Spring Break.
