Crowds at End of August?

Hello! I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the crowds at Disney World are toward the end of August. I've always heard that after Labor Day is the time the crowds start slowing down, but I would like to go at the end of August to catch the Annual Passholder room deals. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated. The exact dates we are looking at are August 20-28, 2005. Thanks!

We went the last full week of August in 2003 and found that the crowds weren't too bad at Disney. The third week in August we went to Universal and wouldn't have been able to do much FOTL it was so busy!
The heat in late August really got to me. We took long breaks in the middle of the day to swim or just rest in the room. !2 days in the Florida heat of August did me in!
I would say for your dates you'll see the crowds decline as most students head back to school. Have a great trip! We leave in two days!
