Crowds AROUND the 3rd and 4th,

I know crowds are crazy on the 3rd and 4th but are the manageable on the 1st, 2nd, and maybe 5th?

Well ... this year, the 4th of July is on a Monday, with the 1st on Friday. So you can bet that the parks will be packed from evening of June 30 through the 4th. I would imagine that the big "travel home" day will be July 5, and that's when things will clear out to just normal July crowds.

just about every hotel on disneyworld property does not have a room available for the 4th of July. So that'll give you some insight as to how many ppl will be down there. Most of the Hotels have rooms again on the 5th, so the above post seems to be right that most will be heading home. I hope so! cuz i'm there the 4th-7th.
