We were there during the comparable week this year (2017), and the crowds were not too bad. My son's birthday is on April 19, and we decided about 5 days before that to surprise him with a trip to Disney! We were able to get good FP+, and the lines and crowds didn't strike us as bad. My husband also ran the Dark Side half, and we didn't see the huge influx of runners that we saw during Marathon weekend in January. I would definitely return during that week!
