Crowds and Weather first week in June

We'll be taking our first trip to WDW June 3rd through 10th. Can anyone tell us what kind of wheather and crowds to expect then?

It will be more crowded than average. Many schools are out for the summer and when you add in Star Wars Weekend and Gay Days, you will certainly have some company!

Weather will be quite hot, with a decent chance of daily afternoon thunderstorms that will last anywhere from 15 minutes to a couple of hours. Florida has been in a very dry pattern so far this year, but the true test will come in the June-September time frame.

This marks the beginning of "vacation season" so expect FULL parks and hot and muggy weather.

Many schools are out, folks are taking thier family vacations.

Yes, it is hot in early June, but not as hot as July or August. Plus, the earlier you go in the summer, the less likely it is you'll have to deal with a hurricane. Yes, it probably will rain almost every afternoon. But, boy, does that clear the place out! And, if you're like us and have to go when your kids are out of school, I'd much rather go in early June than at Christmas. On our trip in early June, the crowds were pretty manageable. Wish we were going with you!

Crowds not bad at all during the week...the weekend will fill up though. We went last year and part of our stay was Memorial Day and Gay Days, but the crowds weren't SO bad...nothing we couldn't handle

Just be prepared for some very WARM and humid weather. The humidity is what got us. We're from the desert, so we are used to the heat...but a dry heat. Not like Florida heat. Just drink lots of water and you'll be fine.

We'll be going 6/3-6/9 as well and were also interested in the grounds. We've gone only one other time, the last week in June and it was crowded but at least we could manage. Hopefully this time it won't be any worse. The crowds from Star Wars may be the worse.

I have been the first week of June at least 12 times. It can be a hit or miss thing with the crowds. There has been some years that the crowds are down and the wait times were pretty low. I have also been some when it was pretty busy. However, the earlier you go in June the least the crowds will be in my experience. I went once around the 15th of June and the crowds were so much worse that I will not back again in the summer after about the 10th of June. Howver, you can expect it to be hot unless you happen to hit a break in the weather.
