Crowds and 2 day touring plan

We'll be there around the same time and I'm looking for touring plans as well. With the buy 2-get 3 day pass we've decided one park per day (probably will do IoA twice, but we'll decide after day 2) and no express pass.

It won't kill us if we can't do every ride, since DD and I have only been there once 3 years ago, and hubby is a 1st timer. Back then we found the walk between parks was a big time waster, hence the one park per day choice. And we only did the 2nd morning at US and went back to IoA for the afternoon. Harry Potter and Seuss's Landing were our faves in all of Universal.

I did find a couple of apps on Undercover Tourist but I'd like to go with a touring plan -- which is so not like me, but without the express pass I think we'll need it for Pres Week.

We have never been so would like some sort of plan and we will not be purchasing the express pass

I have no idea how good these touring plans are, but I wonder whether everyone following the same plan just means I'll be going to the most crowded areas along with the herd.

But it is free and at least it provides some rationale for why you should do attractions in that order
