crowds 1st week of March

We will be taking our 1st trip to Disney with our 3 children the 1st week in March. Can anyone tell me what the crowds are like?

We've gone the 3/2-3/9 last year and 3/1-3/8 the prior two years -- the parks are definitely manageable. The longest wait was at Dumbo (I have two small girls) for 30+ minutes. It tends to be far enough after the Presidant's week crowds and before the heavy spring break traffic.

We plan to go again this year around the same time. Definitley go -- the crowds will be fine.

Why is it that value season ends Feb 15 and peak season begins? I was going based off of that to decide when to go next. My DD will turn 6 in March and I thought that would be fun to go for her birthday until I read that Peak begins in mid Feb. You have given me hope for her birthday trip!

I have found the crowds to be rather light in the past during early March.

There was a big difference from my normal trip in July. We either walked on or only had a short wait for most rides. It wasn't bad at all

I have been going in march for a good time. The crowds are manageable. You have a lot going on in March from schools. Spring camp for high school and college. You have cheerleading competitions. Do not stay at any of the allstar resorts they will be packed and very loud. The parks are pretty good. if you go in the morning you will do find. the afternoons will be crowded not too bad but you will have to wait for rides.

I like it becuase the weather is good. I would say 90% of the time I have been there it has not rain. very rarely does it rain in early march.

If you are going out to eat it is very easy to get a table anywhere. I have eaten at the castle by making res in the morning. Love the castle for dinner during fireworks.

We will be there Feb. 23-March 2. What are the odds that we'll have a day warm enough to do a water park? I am so looking forward to this trip. The kids would love to try Shark Reef at TL.
