We had a great trip 2/2 - 2/6 but BOY MK was crowded on Saturday...at least it seemed really crowded to me for FEBRUARY! Wed. & Thurs. the crowds were GREAT (very low), Friday a little busier but WOW SATURDAY! Did any body else think the crowds were really high?

..but freeeeezing!!!! We stayed for Spectromagic and Wishes and froze our tootsies off (but it was worth it!!!) We fast passed Buzz Light Year and just waited to save our place at the Main St train station after that (we spent the morning at EPCOT)

:cool1: Yes we were there on Saturday the 26th of January and it was very crowded. I really could'nt get over it as we had been there that previous Monday and the crowds were very light, it was that way all week at each of the parks, but Saturday they must have opened a gate somewhere, cause it seemed everyone was there.

It was so crowded on Saturday. I just put that in my trip report. A lot of folks that live in Jacksonville went down for the day to escape the crowds. Boy were they surprised. There were a lot of dance teams there too. I was so happy we went Thursday too and there were no lines at all.

It was crowded, but thankfully all we had left that we really wanted to do was Fantasyland. We got there at park opening and had done all of Fantasyland (except for Philharmagic, which was broken until 3 pm) by 9:35. We got FPs for Philharmagic and when it was fixed got right in. It was nice, because it left the rest of the day for Toontown, getting autographs around the park, and doing a few things I normally would not have done (riding the railroad, the TTA, etc.).

I wish I had a dollar for every LSU cap I saw. Lots and lots of people escaping Mardi Gras!

There were a lot of cheerleaders all around WDW. We arrived at Rainforest Cafe for dinner on Saturday at 7:00 PM and were told there was a 110 minute wait. Ugh. After waiting until almost 9:00 PM to eat, the food was good but overpriced in my opinion, more so than the other restaurants at WDW.

It was the dancers, and the Mardi gras crowd. I was so disappointed, we set up the trip because it would be a slower time of year, and there were June crowds. I felt like I threw our money down the toilet. We had to wait in line for more than 30 minutes on almost everything and the buses were crowded, and the dancers wouldn't give up seats for the people carrying small children (like us). I only had three days there and we were fighting crowds everywhere except when we decided to go to Epcot, but with a two and six year old we couldn't go there often!

Cold yes. Crowded - not so bad until Saturday. We saw dancers/cheerleaders but none were acting out of line like I had read about. I'm not sure I'd go again at this time mainly because we prefer warmer temps. especially when we want to ride Splash over and over.
Already planning next trip of course.

We just got back last night (2/8) from WL. We went to MGM on Saturday. It was very crowded, especially with the cheer squads. We were able to ride most of the things that we wanted. Sunday at MK was wild. Thank goodness for FastPass. People were everywhere! On Monday, we did EPCOT. The front section was busy but back in the country section, it was great. I thought that this Mardi Gras break would have been an ideal time for a trip but I'm not quite sure. The weather was nice...even a little cool at night. We had a super time but yes, I wondered the same thing about the unusually large crowds. I'm ready to go again!!!!!! :earsboy:
