Does anyone have crowd predictions (either their own personal predictions, or Touring Plans) for this Tuesday and Wednesday (Leap Day)?

I heard last week was packed...lots of schools off, apparently. But I'm not sure about this week.

Thanks!

Schools are in I think. (new to the west coast) No one is really sure since this has never been done before.

Prepare for park closures, but hope for the best. It's not going to be empty, but I don't think it'll be holiday bad, but I've only been to DL once for NYE 2010.

Prepare for the worst. Schools are in, but, since it is only one day, local teens may end up being ''sick'' for Wednesday and Thursday. I expect once it gets really really late, people will start leaving so it won't be as packed. But it will be busy, most definitely.

It is my oldests birthday on Wednesday so we will be there, but closer to 10-11. I know it will be crowded but I don't expect it to be record breaking crowds.

I think it's going to be nuts. I hope not, but that's my prediction... unless it rains.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow, but I think that's it for the week.

Do you think Tuesday will be bad too? Or just a regular Tuesday?

I don't think Tuesday will be much to worry about. Maybe a bit busier than an "average Tuesday in February," but nothing I would be concerned about.

As for weather, Wednesday is "partly cloudy" right now. All I was saying is if for some reason that turns to rain, it'll scary people away. :goodvibes

Last week was "ski week" so there are schools that were out. Don't see any rain for Wednesday. I know of a group of people at work that are taking the day off to go. I also know of a group from church going too. You gotta figure it's going to be pretty busy, especially for a Wednesday.

I know a woman who works there, and she said they are preparing to be at capacity. I have tickets to the Ducks/Buffalo Sabers game on Wednesday, so I'm not planning on arriving at DL until around 11pm. She told me to prepare for the possibility I will be turned away. I'm gonna hope she's wrong, roll out, and hope for the best.

I was hoping to go later for this..maybe in the afternoon or at least late morning but now I'm worried I won't get in if I do that. I have a new annual pass so hopefully I could at least get into DCA until the other park was less crowded if any of this happens.

Hi
I'm a high school teacher in the LA area and yes schools are in but I have heard from several students AND adults (friends of mine) that are all going to leap year day at Disneyland. Several people apparently even got hotel rooms check take a quick nap as needed. I heard all the kids talking about it.
I went just this past Saturday and was shocked at how crowded it was because this is a semi off season, certain passes were blocked and the kids were "in school" meaning even though it was a weekend there wasn't a vacation day the day before or the Monday after.

So I would expect it to be crowded especially since this is the first time (I think) Disneyland has done this and they just released that they are doing a bunch of things in honor of leap day as listed here:

I don't care if it's crowded, I just don't want it to be at capacity!

I hope past 2AM the crowds really drop off.

I asked a CM about this last night. She said they are expecting a HUGE showing, and that things are going to be wild on Wednesday. She mentioned they are also having some special food items (?? didn't think to double check if she meant for guests or CMs). She did say she might even come back just for the food and the soft opening of Fantasmic :)

Granted, I don't know what a "normal" Monday looks like, but today seemed busy when we were there, despite the torrential downpours! I'm anxious to see what tomorrow is like!
