Does any one have any idea how busy we should expect it to be during our trip this year? We will be there Friday 16th December until Monday 19th December.

We're preparing ourselves for lots of people! :goodvibes

i'm going on December 14 to December 16 myself ^^. but looking at french calendar, that's the last week of school in France so maybe people will start coming to Disneyland on Dec. 16 / 17

We did a weekend in late November 2007 and it was horrendous, probably the busiest I've seen the park out of all the weekend trips we've done. You need to plan knowing that it is going to be busy, make the most of EMH, take in all the christmas shows but expect long queues for the rides.
Might be an idea to prebook your restaurants too on our last weekend trip in October I tried to book Inventions or Cafe Mickey for our last evening in the morning and couldn't get either.

It's going to be absolutely manic :crowded: but so long as you're prepared for it then it shouldn't spoil anything. :goodvibes

We are going on the 19th December to the 21st December so im guessing i should expect it to be totally manic then

Ah we had expected this! We have been totally spoiled as we usually go on week days out of school holidays, so it will be an experience.

But i plan on having everything planned this time (i usually go with the flow allot), i'm willing to put up with crowds if it means i get a fix this year! :rotfl:

And the Christmas decorations are so beautiful that it's worth putting up with the crowds. ::yes::

We were there the Friday and Saturday before christmas last year. We didn't find the Saturday too busy but it was very cold and snowing so that probably affected the crowds. We did EMH with virtually no queues and then hopped to the studios, they were quiet enough for us to ride toy story playland rides with queues of about 20 mins. Can't remember too much about what we did in the afternoon other than watching the winter wonderland show but we got into that with no problems. It was very verrry cold so we needed regular hot chocolate breaks:goodvibes
