Crowd Levels the week after Christmas?

To all you expert veteran travellers. What are the crowds like the week after Christmas? How long are the Christmas decorations and things like the CP, Osborne Lights and Christmas shows in MK on until? What is the weather like? We went this last Christmas from Dec 19 to 29 and my husband has turned into a little boy that wants to go back again. We are thinking about Dec. 27 to Jan 5. Please help me decide if these dates are good. Thank you
