WOW.
First off, let me say we did have fun. It's still Disney and it's all what you make of it.
Crowd Levels: ENORMOUS
Those Disney promotions must be working. I realize this is the start of spring break season, but we've been there many times during this same time period and I have never seen it that crowded.
Fast passes to all major rides - gone by noon for the entire day.
Standby times for Rockin' Roller Coaster / Soarin / Expedition Everest / etc., anywhere from 90-130 minutes. And again, unless you run straight to FastPass distribution when the park opens, these wait times are the only option.
Long story short, we made the most of the trip by visiting some of the shows and enjoying the meals, fireworks, etc. We had tickets through today, but we decided we'd had enough elbows and hoverrounds to the heels for one trip and decided to leave last night. Waiting in line 40 minutes for a Casey's dog at 2pm was the last straw.
We've probably been spoiled by going during the fall seasons over the years, but this will be our last spring Disney trip even if that means taking the kids out of school for a few days.
Enjoy it spring goers ... just know it's going to be very crowded out there!
