Am I right to assume crowd levels will be high during the taping of the parade on Saturday? I was thinking of going to MK during evening hours or will it still be really crowed? :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Can someone respond about Friday, the 2nd also? I hear that they are taping this day too, but MK has Early EMH. AND the website to sign up to be an extra (sorry, can't remember the name of it) says "LATE MORNING" for the 2nd. Does any have any more information for the 2nd?

We went for our first day ever at WDW on Saturday the 4th last year and we had a great time!
We got there at about 8:15 a.m. and all the people were lined up down Mainstreet to watch the taping but we got "shooed" along which ended up being great for us! Once you got past Mainstreet it was a ghost town! We rode all of the main rides in all the lands except Tomorrowland --we basically walked on to every ride!! It was incrediable!
It got really busy around 11:00 and the weather got cloudy and cool but by then we had ridden a good percentage of the rides and had up to this point enjoyed a fairly empty park! We watched stars line up for the parade--got to see John Stamos, the stars from "Hope and Faith" plus more--it was really cool would definately go on a day when they are taping again! Saw Regis and Kelly as well--it was just a great day! Highly recommend the experience!

What website has the information about the taping of the parade?

They were taking requests via email but don't have any slots left. But, I'm sure people can still just head up Main St. and see and maybe be seen during the taping period.
I know that I haven't found out yet what time we are suposed to be there on Friday morning. I got in for the early Fri taping but they are sending us an email on the 28th with our passes/vouchers/info on arrival time.
I would imagine that the park will be crowded during most of the day on Sat. Must be why the park is open until 11!!! As far as Friday goes, I don't think it will be nearly as bad since it's a week-day.

Ok...maybe I'm being an idiot, but I recently figured out that the taping for the Christmas parade is not on Christmas. Is there a way to find out the dates? I like the idea of taking advantage of the rides during that event.

I LOVE this answer :goodvibes Then I am definitely going on EMH Friday the 2nd. It sounds like the best of both worlds for me.

Sat. night is one of only 2 nights that are not MVMCP nights - I'm afraid a lot of people will come to see Spectro-Magic since it might be there only chance

It was a zoo down Mainstreet last year on that Friday. It was kind of fun to watch Wionna Judd sing, but after the 5th take I was done. Once away from mainstreet it was ok. Have fun.

Thank you!

As of right now, the parade will be taping on December 2nd (or "over the weekend"), but it may be re-scheduled if the weather is lousy.

We have been invited by a friend who has a voucher for five guests. The vouchers will be e-mailed on the 28th along with further instructions for the "audience" areas. So far, we know that we must use the turnstile to the far right and we will receive wrist bands. Parking and park entrance is complimentory with the voucher. No camera or autographs are allowed and one on the "set" we must stay in our designated area.

Need some advice.....we have priority seating for Crystal Palace on Saturday, December 3rd at 9:05 for breakfast.....will getting there with the parade being taped be a problem? I would really hate to change them.

Any advice would be appreciated!

I highly doubt it would be a problem, or else they wouldnt have PS for the times that the parade was on. I am also sure that they have walkways open for guests that need to pass down Main street and do not or cannot watch the parade.
We will be there on Sunday the 5th...will the parade taping be over by then??? I have only seen it mentioned on Friday and Saturday.
My girls have been watching Full House like crazy lately. I (and they) would love it if they were able to get even a glimpse of John Stamos!
