We are headed to Orlando in April and easy wdw has our week crowd levels rated a 7. We usually travel to wdw during slower weeks . Are non wdw theme parks equally crowded? I have small boys (3 +5) and I don't think they would handle a week of long lines well. We are considering legoland and sea world. (Maybe universal- not sure how great it is for small kids)

A good rule of thumb is that if Disney is crowded, all the major theme parks will be crowded.

That said, SeaWorld absorbs the crowds particularly well, as many of their attractions are shows which accommodate large amounts of people at one time. Also, SeaWorld and Universal have front-of-the-line passes available for purchase (Quick Queue at SeaWorld and Express Pass at Universal) for those wishing to maximize their ride time for an extra cost.

I have never been to LEGOLAND, so hopefully someone else will chime in on that for you.

The DIBB offers a great "busy day guide" that gives best-park recommendations for ALL the Orlando theme parks (not just Disney or Universal). You can find it here:

I would not do Universal with a 3 and 5 yr old. That's just my opinion. Not a whole lot geared for that age. Sea World handles crowds well. So it's not as huge an issue. Use the strategy shows first rides last and its no problem at all. We rode three times in a row in the evening what was taking two hrs to wait for in the morning. I recently found a sea world aquatica ticket that was decent priced on undercover tourist. What I didn't catch at first was that its good for 14 days unlimited admission! Great value and take your time, return later! With kids that age avoid the afternoon crowd by coming back later and taking more days to do it.
