Does anyone know what the crowds are like for the days after Christmas? More like the dates of Dec 27- Jan 5???

I havn't been in years and my mom said it actually wasn't to busy ( i was young back them :goodvibes ) but from my understand reading threads from mid- december to the 2-3 of January its REALLY busy cause everyone stays till after new years.... But i'm sure someone there last year could let you know more for sure!!

It will mostly likely be very busy that entire time frame considering Jan2-4 is a weekend. The only day which the crowds will definitely die down is the 5th because that is when school starts again for most.

The week between Christmas and NYE is notoriously the most crowded week at DLR. They close the gates quite frequently due to reaching capacity levels. Personally, you couldn't pay me to be there during that time, but I know there are some people who actually enjoy that kind of thing. Just plan for this :crowded: :crowded: :crowded:

thanks for the info! Based on what you all are saying, I don't think that I want to be anywhere near there either! We just went during Spring Break and that was "enough" for me with dealing with crowds. :sad2: I'm gonna stick with early October I think.

Yes if you think "spring break" is bad the week between Christmas and NYE is the busiest time of the year. So you may want to avoid it.

That said this is the time we are going this year. I have wanted to spend Christmas at Disneyland for ever so we are doing it this year.
