Crowd level

Hey all...

Just wondering how the crowd levels are right now? I know that summer is typically very crowded but are gas prices and the economy affecting crowd level? We are going next week which is why I ask. Thanks in advance!

We just got back late Monday evening from a 10-day trip and saw major differences in crowds from day to day. Their didn't seem to be any real rhyme or reason except for the one day day that happened to be the last day for local AP holders to visit prior to their summer black-out dates.

Sunday evening at Remember...Dreams Come True was complete craziness. The two other nights we watched fireworks you were allowed to sit in front of the castle and view them. Sunday they made everyone stand in the street and back and then used the sidewalk in front of the castle to move people from one land to another. Talk about ruining the experience...those people on the sidewalk were taller than us in the street so it was hard to see the special lighting (ducks, ghosts, etc.) on the castle and we had to hear the CMs screaming "keep moving" during the entire fireworks show.

to watch fireworks we always sit in the hub/central plaza. I love that spot especially in the haunted mansion part

I saw one thing that said the crowds were slightly lower. Did anyone else notice this?

Define warm weather? I've been looking online and it says the weather is in the 80s... Its 106-116 here lately so it can't be too terrible. LOL!

We were there last week from Sun-Fri and the best days crowd wise were Sunday and Thursday.

Not I. It seemed more crowded than when we went Aug. of '05 for the 50th celebration. I was expecting it to be simular or possibly a little less crowded.

So typical July.... We were there the 50th anniversary weekend and always go in July for our Birthdays so its nothing new to us... Just curious if the economy has affected anything but apparently it hasn't lol...
