crowd level week of 11/21-28

I KEEP READING ABOUT THE THANKSGIVING CROWDS AND I'M CONSIDERING CHANGING MY PLANS. ARE THE THANKSGIVING CROWD WORSE THAN THE SUMMER CROWDS. ARE THE PARKS CROWDED THANKSGIVNG WEEKEND OR THE ENTIRE WEEK OF THANKSGIVING?

I've never toured during that time frame so I'm just going to bump this back to page 1 for you so that some of our veterans can offer advice.

This year will be my first trip back to WDW on Thanksgiving weekend in at least 8 years. We will be there 11/23 - 11/28 Usually we go in September ( we did not have children yet). But in my past experiences the days leading up to Thanksgiving and the day of Thanksgiving were pretty light crowds. But come Friday the crowds do get larger. So what we are doing is going to MK on Wednesday and MGM on Thursday.

I hope this helps. I am a little concerned about the crowds also but I am going to keep my fingers crossed that it is still the same.

We went this past Thanksgiving week. We arrived the Thursday before Thanksgiving and returned home the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The beginning of our trip was wonderful. Low crowds, relaxed atmosphere. As the week got closer to Thanksgiving we noticed more and more people. By Wednesday it was getting crazy. We checked out of our Disney resort on Thanksgiving morning and checked into a Unversal hotel where we had the front of the line access. We enjoyed the trip. We got everything done that we wanted to do in the first few days so by the time the crowds came, we were more relaxed. The weather is very nice too and that makes a difference. We just got back from Disney on Friday. The crowds were heavy at times but it was also very hot. I'd rather deal with the Thanksgiving crowds without the heat.
