Crowd Level Mid May?

Has any been in recent years in mid May? I was wondering how crowded it will be. We are arriving on a Wednesday and leaving the following Tuesday. My plan at the moment is to do HS on a Monday due to Star Wars weekends.

We were there in 2014 for the last 3 weeks of May (and the first week of June). The crowds were quite manageable EXCEPT Memorial Day weekend (Fri through Monday). Besides being a holiday weekend, Friday was the 24 hour event. So if you'll be arriving on Wednesday May 13....you'll be much happier with the crowd levels than if you arrive on Wednesday May 20. I don't think I've heard that they're doing the 24 hours again, but even without that three day weekends are definitely more crowded than the rest of the month.

We'll be there from May 13 to June 15.....and like last year we know to take an extra bag of patience with us for those 4 days of Memorial Day weekend. We spent most of it in DHS for SWW but even that was more crowded than I liked. Had that been our only time there I'd not be happy.

I am so jealous! We will be there from May 9 to May 19th and I am happy with that but to get to stay over a month. I would really be happy!

We went May 11-21 in 2013. It was a great time to go and the weather was fantastic. It wasn't empty by any means, but the crowds were very manageable. We did have to wait a lot longer for buses than we did on our June trip.

We would go again in May in a heartbeat, but I'm a teacher and I no longer teach at a year round school with a May vacation. Oh well. Enjoy!

This is the third year in a row we are going in May and we'd been a couple times before that as well. Crowds are average but get worse the end of the month around Memorial Day.

I am so jealous! We will be there from May 9 to May 19th and I am happy with that but to get to stay over a month. I would really be happy!

We are extremely fortunate to be able to go as often and as long as we do.....we'll be there for all 5 weeks of Star Wars Weekend this year, plus we'll be at Swan for a convention in August, and we'll be back for a month in Nov/Dec.

And yes....we should just move there....and that is in the lifeplan....but not right now.

We'll be there May 17-22. We went the week prior to Memorial weekend last time we went and the crowds weren't bad at all. That was 2011. I expect that Friday to be a little crazier, but we'll be on our way home before Memorial Weekend gets into full swing (I hope.)
