We (myself, wife and DDs 2 & 4) will be visiting Magic Kingdom on December 28th. It is a 7am-8am EMH, but we are staying off property. Since Adventureland isn't open during EMH, we will head there first. Will we be allowed to enter onto Main Street before 8am? Also, is this plan possible if we use the Fastpass at the very end of the window?

- Jungle Cruise
- Aladdin
- Pirates
- Haunted Mansion
- Small World
- Carousel
- Philharmagic
- Meet Rapunzel and Tianna FP+ (9:40am-10:40am)

We currently have a Haunted Mansion FP+ for 10:40am-11:40am, but I'd like to switch it to something else now if the above plan is possible without it.

I definitely think your plan should work without it. I would even wait to do phillarmagic and the carousel until late morning/ early afternoon. It should still be pretty manageable until around 10 then the crowds will probably become more significant. I would also plan on squeezing the little mermaid ride in the morning

And remember you can use a FP for 15 min after window, so you will have until 10:55.

Regular guests will be allowed on Main Street for the welcome show; the other areas of the parks will be blocked off.

I switched it to this:

- Jungle Cruise
- Aladdin
- Pirates
- Haunted Mansion
- Small World
- Carousel
- Philharmagic
- Meet Rapunzel and Tianna FP+ (10:10-11:10)
- Lunch @ Pecos Bills
- Tom Sawyer’s Island
- Tiki Room
- Country Bears
- Swiss Family Treehouse
- GET XMAS PARADE viewing spot @ 2:30pm (3:30)
- Enchanted Tales with Belle FP+ (3:40pm-4:40pm)
- Peter Pan FP+ (4:55pm-5:55pm)
- Dinner @ Pinnichio

We have 2 days in the parks, so we will start day 2 like at 8am on a non-EMH day:

- Buzz
- Astro Orbitor
- Meet Ariel
- Little Mermaid
- Dumbo
- Barnstormer
- Meet Daisy, Minnie, Goofy, Donald (opens at 10am)
- Tea Cups
- Speedway FP+ (10:30-11:30)
- Lunch @ Cosmic Rays
- Meet Elena and Cinderella FP+ (Noon-1pm)
- Pooh FP+ (1p-2pm) Try to get 7D FP+ for me and Rider Swap
- Festival of Fantasy Parade (3pm)

I think even during a very crowded week, you have laid out a good and realistic plan. The hardest part will be getting there early enough to be ready to leave the hub right at 8 o'clock. An extra 30 minutes will seriously add to your cumulative wait times.

We rarely rope drop (about once per trip). Two trips ago, we hit it early enough that we exceeded our schedule. The last trip, we were a little after rope drop (maybe 10 minutes), and we had to cut a few stops. We left the room just as early each time, but transportation bottlenecks did us in.

Logged in at exactly 7am this morning in hopes of finding a single rider 7D FP+ with the idea of using rider swap for it later. To my surprise, at 9:25am, there was one available. The next available time was 10:05pm!

Will we be allowed to enter onto Main Street before 8am?

Yes. Your plan is well laid out- not so sure it is realistic on a 10/10 day but you will get done what you get done- and the rest will have to wait until your next visit. As a PP said, getting there and being ready for RD is difficult off site- and will be your biggest challenge to getting the day started on time. You should add at least an hour for travel to the parking lot, parking/tram, monorail/ferryboat transfer, waiting at the turnstiles, walking to the rope at the bridge to Adventureland, etc. And even an hour may not be enough that week- I don't know for sure because I wouldn't ever attempt it that particular week offsite. You have a lot planned on one of the busiest days of the year. Don't set your expectations too high, and you won't be disappointed.

We'll be there the same day--in the same situation--staying off property. My DS will be marching in the pre parade before the 12:00 parade! I'm sure it will be crazy busy but still fun!

The plan is to be parking the car at 7am. I hope this will allow us to reach the rope by 8am.
