Crowd Forecast with Free Dining

So I've just noticed that our dates are "blackout" for free DDP next year, is this a good thing do you think?
Do you think that it's likely to be quieter because there won't be anyone taking advantage of free DDP?

On the other hand, do you think that this is likely to stay blacked out or will Disney change it nearer the time?

It doesn't make a big difference as in the US if you book free dining you only have to check in during the FD dates to get it for your entire stay - even if your check in date is FD and the rest are not. So over a blackout week you will have plenty people staying who checked in as late as possible if they wanted that week, just to get the FD.

We're there the same time too and after some research it seems that "holidays" (Easter, Christmas) are always blackout. I think Easter is always a little busy but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that not too busy

I am too!
Yes we ended up booking a package with VH in the end, only because we had some Club Card Vouchers that we could use, ended up paying £800 for 17 nights - the rest was on the vouchers! We have got a 3 bed villa with pool, I CANNOT wait and am loving that the countdown is going down so quickly! Have you booked your accomodations yet Joanne?

Mine dragged last year. This year has brought a whole new dimension to the word 'hectic'! Needless to say, the ticker is just melting away! I think also because I used to check it every day. I don't always look at it now - just got used to it being there.

Our life is hectic right now too! We have got a shop and live by the seasons, next on my list is Halloween! Then Christmas! The year is flying by!
