Crowd Estimation ?

Hi

Our 1st day in DL will be on Saturday June 1st, staying until 6/4. To me, it seems like this would be a good time to go as it is between memorial day and just before schools let out, so I would think most people would hold back and go later...but then again maybe everyone else is thinking the same way and there will be tons of people.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how packed it is this time of year?

Since your visit falls over a weekend I would be prepared for Moderate/Heavy crowds on Saturday and Sunday.

If you are going in on Monday it should be a little less crowded

It just seems that since the 50th celebration the attendance is always up on weekends.

The park hours are a direct indication of how busy Disney expects the parks to be. If the parks are open early and closing late you can expect the crowds to be heavy. Monday and Tuesday will probably be better.

Most all of AZ schools are out then - not sure how much of an impact that is going to have - as I am sure the whole state is not carpooling up the day after school gets out (at least if so, I was not invited )

Other CA schools are out then, also- schools here are done May 31.

It's pretty much always crowded from about Memorial day - Labor day. Just expect it.

Let us know how the crowds are when you get back. I'd like to go right at that time next year, as my kids will be getting out a little earlier. It's never too early to plan, right?
