Are there any free crowd calendars besides easywdw & undercovertourist.. The day im looking to be at disney each site says something different easywdw says avoid ak that day But the other site says that day should have neutral crowds.. which is more accurate? is there any other calendars I can look at? thank you

With my planning I look at a couple, but I always end up using easywdw. I do go to the parks I want to though. Like Epcot on a Sunday during F&W.

The Dibb, has free crowd calendars. I think they call it Busy Day guide.

For my knowledge at least, that's pretty much it. I had the same thing happen to me back in April/May trip. I chose to pick one to trust, and I picked easywdw. I just picked them because they've been reliable in the past and because i like how they break down WHY they give the thumbs up/down on each day.

It drove me crazy, though, trying to figure out who to believe and then I decided it wasn't worth the worry and picked one.

Thank you! I think im just going to flip a coin & hope for the best :)

EasyWDW is the only one I read. I like his detailed explanations of his advice. Keep in mind, I think he never recommends a park with EMH, if that's what you're looking at.

This year, I did a 4 Parks day and picked a day where his only "red" park was Epcot - and when you read the details, EP wasn't awful, but Monday or Wednesday would both be better, less crowded choices. The context really helps.

The other big one is Touring Plans. Like previous poster said, easywdw will by default say to avoid parks on EMH days. I always looked at easywdw on my trips, but you have to take it in context, and look at your entire trip, how many days you are going to each park, and what you want to do, are you going to EMH, etc. If crowds are low, it might not matter as much. Which is better, AK on a "recommended" Saturday with crowd level 5, or AK on a "not recommended" Friday with morning EMH and crowd level 3? It depends on what your other park choices are for those days. If you post the exact dates you are considering, people can offer their opinions.

With AK, I personally didn't worry as much about crowds as I did with MK and HS. I normally didn't hesitate to do morning EMH at AK, or visit on a weekend, even if it was not recommended. I knew I could get a lot done at rope drop at AK, and then do walking trails, shows, use FP+ when/if it got busy.

I have found Easy WDW to be more accurate than Touring Plans. I also like how Easy breaks down each day, and explains exactly why a park is recommended, and tells you the best way to tour in each park.

Ok, well I need to do 2 parks in one day those being AK & HS... & I need to go either Dec 10 or 11... Dec 10 says to avoid Hs but that Ak is good but Dec 11 says Hs is good but to avoid Ak. any opinions are appreciated. T

I would be to the park that is not recommended at rope drop, and do whatever you want to do there right away. Then hop to the other park.

However you slice it, it is going to be difficult to see/do everything. I look at AK and HS as "half day" parks, but that doesn't mean you can do both in one day, i.e. you can do more in two half days (doing both parks at rope drop with 6 total FP), than in one day (rope drop one and 3 FP at the other).

I'm going to say from my experience that Friday is going to be slightly more crowded than Thursday, particularly the afternoon. I'm assuming you are staying onsite? If I was going Friday, I would rope drop AK morning EMH 8am without FP, and then hop to HS in the afternoon with my 3 FPs at HS. If I was going Thursday, I would rope drop HS with 3 FPs, then hop to AK before lunchtime, and grab a 4th FP at a kiosk as soon as I get to AK, then have lunch.

If I had to choose, I would do Thursday, but that's based on my personal preferences of rides and parks. With HS the crowds are concentrated on a handful of rides, I know I can get more done in the morning than the afternoon. At AK with crowd level 4, there will be a very good chance you can get multiple FPs at kiosks if you show up at lunchtime.
