Crowd Calendars and EMH

I'm starting to plan my october trip and reading the crowd calendar of easywdw.com ...and I noticed most of the parks with EMH are not recommended. However I'll be staying at a Disney Resort and could use them.
Is it that much crowded because of it? Is it worth it to go to the park on that day and make use of EMH or should I strictly follow the calendar?

Also, I'll be at Disney on my birthday October 14th (dream come true!!! ), which park is the best to celebrate? I imagine it's MK but the crowd calendar says it's not recommended at all that day...

Depends on the crowd prediction. I usually go Sept/Oct. I have never had a problem with crowds and I always use the EMH. (Mostly crowd predictions of 6 or less.)

Yes - the parks with EMH will be more crowded than the parks w/o EMH on most days. The extra hours in the morning are worth it if you hop out before noon. The night EMH are not worth it in October.

You will get in more rides in fewer hours in parks that are less crowded.
