Crowd calendar jumps dramatically June 14...why?

the week before June 14 crowd estimates on touring plans are all 4 and 5's. On the 14th it jumps to a 9. What is going on to cause this? Am I missing something about an event or something?

On undercover tourist the crowds through June are all about 8/10. I think the summer is always crowded.

School is done in many places.

While schools down here get out before or on Memorial day weekend, many northern schools don't get out until the later weeks of June and start back later in August than us.

With every week in June, more and more schools will be out. The GA schools near me get out in May. But the SC schools get out at the end of the first week in June. When I looked up a couple FL districts, they got out around the same time as the SC schools or a week later. Meanwhile, Maine schools often get out at the end of June. With every day/week, more and more schools will be out in June.

Oh, and not to mention Kong will be opening and Hulk will be returning soon there after. It's RUMORED that they might have soft openings by then.... however thats all rumor and speculation.

Many of the schools up here in the Northeast finish around that time.Here in central Pa we are out in early June and back in Mid-August ..Summer is always busy in Orlando

we lost 2 days of spring break..they dont extend our school year .they take from elsewhere

same here, until they run out of the padded days, then allowed to go to end of June.

this year most districts in area started earlier 3rd week in August after such a horrid weather in '14-'15. This year was a breeze

I should explain.. I live 35 minutes above Tallahassee and used to live in southern/central Florida. Anything above the gnat line is north!

I am in Charlotte NC and most schools around here get out June 10. We usually go back around August 25th.

Northern WV here...our school starts early to mid August, and we get out late May. We always go then because so many other schools go into early June...also prices go up for the hotels and EP, and black out days around the 2nd week of June as that is classified as "summer season" for the parks.
