with crowds changing at disney lately i wouldn't put too much stock in crowd calendars anymore. i have been going in sept for some 15 years and trust me it has become much more crowded, though still less than christmas, spring break etc. i believe the days of walk ons are pretty much behind us. just this past year they claim the summer was less busy while sept and now oct seem to be busier then years prior.

put most of your effort in a good touring plan and enjoy. as far as crowds, i use to use TP and easywdw. TP still gives a numerical value to each day and park but josh has stopped the calendars due to disney's reluctance to provide info ahead of time. haven't really used UT

Days of walk ons aren't behind us because we had 2 weeks in September with many, many walk ons. Especially if you were in the correct park.
