It was an exceptionally lazy start today and it was 9:30 before we were in Topsiders having breakfast.

After breakfast we took up our usual spot on deck 4 and at 10:30 I went into Studio Sea for the Art of Entertaining presentation, which today was dessert and they were making herb pot tiramisu. Dad wasn't interested so I left him where he was.

After the presentation I went back and sat outside with Dad for a while until he went off to a port and shopping talk and I went off for a wander and did my daily 3 laps.

We met up again for lunch - hot dog for me and chicken strips for Dad - then we went to have a look in the duty free shop, after which Dad went back to the cabin and I went off for a wander.

At 3:00 I found myself in the lobby atrium where the character dance party was taking place.

Continued in next post

If anybody ever asks why they should pay more for a Disney cruise then this is the answer, where else can kids and adults dance away up close with their favourite characters. There were character handlers there but not once did they have to intervene to move people away.

After the dance party I went back up to the cabin to lay out for a while then at 5:45 it was time to go down for the show, which tonight was the magic of Scott Pepper. It was a pretty good show and although it included some of the usual tricks, like sawing a woman in half, they were done in a different way which kept it entertaining.

Dinner was tonight was in Lumiere's again and it was the Transatlantic Dinner. We both had smoked salmon and cream cheese Napoleon to start, followed by cream of cauliflower soup, then I had pork tenderloin and Dad had pasta, for dessert I had strawberry cheesecake and Dad had butter pecan sundae.

After dinner it was into the Promenade Lounge for a drink and we were in bed at 11:00, with the clocks yet again going forward an hour.

Day 10 - At Sea

Another lovely day. The food sounds delicious

I love the chandelier in the atrium. Good choice of movies on every day, and plenty of other stuff to keep you entertained.:)
