I know you can take a certain amount over but does any one know how much, and what if I take more? If I claim it do I pay tax and they will then let me take it or is it only so much allowed and thats it.
 

This brought back a funny memory for me.

My DH's grandparents used to have a cottage in Canada when we lived in Michigan. If we were having a big gathering, they always asked DHs great aunt to bring the liquor in her car. She was a nun and always wore her habit and she was never stopped once! :lmao:

Of course that was before 911 and all so maybe they would crack down on her now!

But if you have an elderly nun willing to bring in the alcohol, you may be able to bring in anything you want!
