Just wondering how many have crossed that border the day before our Thanksgiving (Sunday)? We're thinking about taking a quick trip over this Sunday, but won't bother if there's a long wait.

Unless you have Nexis, the Bluwater Bridge can be a LONG wait any Sunday. Cross before 10AM and you should be OK.

it's hit and miss. Some days it is bearable and other days it's hours. Early is always best. Anything afternoon, budget at least an hour to be safe.

Thanks for the replies guys!
We were running late and also realized it was Columbus Day weekend in the states, so we decided against it for fear the lines would be too long.
We're heading over Ambassador Bridge tomorrow, the day after Columbus Day should hopefully be better. :thumbsup2

We came home about 3ish on that Thanksgiving Sunday (We were camping at the Port Huron KOA). Coming back into Canada, we were less than 3 minutes, for people heading over to the USA, it looked to be about a 1/2 hour or so wait.... You never know at that crossing tho!!
