Cross Stitch: software programs

Does anyone have a cross stitch software program that they use to create their own charts?

If so, which one do you use and how do you like it?

I've been looking for several designs and I just can't find them. So I was thinking that perhaps if I had a software program, I could simply create what I want instead of endlessly searching.

I don't have any but it's on my list of stuff to get if I ever find extra money and none of the kids is in drastic need of something lol. I looked into it a few years ago, and I remember there were 2 different brands that were most popular and easiest to find. I wanted one that would add the backstich (outlining) for me and only one would do that. I wish I could remember the names of the 2 brands! I remember the one that would do it, you had to buy the professional version vrs the basic one. Other then the backstitch issue, I think they were pretty similar.

Thanks! I'm still looking into it. So if anyone else has any input, that would be great.

I'll try to find the one that I'd seen to see if maybe that's one of the ones you'd looked into.
