crop a dile? What else can I use???

I registered for my classes yesterday and see that the one class lists a crop a dile. I don't have one and really don't want to buy one. What else can I use???

You can probably borrow 1 from a nieghbor- you can bring whatever punch tool you use for setting eyelets and that may work- it depends on what they want you to punch or set.

Our local Walmart had the big Crop-a-dile for $10 last week.

I'm in that class too, and I'm NOT lugging my big bite! My plan is to do what I can and punch my holes at home.

What class is it for? Some you can just bring a tiny paper punch (I think it said 1/8th)- otherwise just an eyelet setter, or ask the lady next to you if you can borrow hers for a second - it goes pretty quick for whatever you need it for.

Mine is a button farm recipe book - It looks to me like a punch is just needed for the holes for the ring(s)

I'm taking the delicously different class on Friday night. If it's just for the hole on the side I'm not going to worry about it. I actually just bought a cinch so I'll have to check it out. I also saw the crop a dile at walmart for $10 but didn't think I'd ever use it.

Haven't gotten a chance to use it for anything yet. Did make a couple punchs and it did seem really nice.
