Looking for Disney's new chief?
You'll find Meg Crofton next week spending much of her time walking the resort's parks and hotels meeting employees.
Crofton, 52, was named the new president of Walt Disney World on Thursday.
The Winter Park resident had been executive vice president of human resources for the Disney Co.'s 99,000-employee theme parks and resorts unit for the past four years, and in various Disney World personnel, operations and sales jobs for more than two decades before that.
But as Disney World's fourth president, she is moving to a post that requires both her global view of thousands of employees and the kind of intimate ground-level recognition that her predecessor and boss, Al Weiss, employed.
