So I am not a big fan of crocs, although I have yet to actually wear any a full day. Anyhow- after hearing about the outlet- I figured I would share the deals online too- someone posted this info on my new moms thread on the CB (the ONLY thread i even dare to visit on the CB! :rotfl: ).

Oh, great deals on www.crocs.com on Disney crocs!!! Go to the site, click on "outlet" and pick out your shoes. Then, when you check out it's already free shipping, and use the code "channel08" for an additional 20% off. They have adult, children's and disney available in certain sizes and colors on clearance.:thumbsup2 :wizard:

Another tip- My mom wears crocs when gardening, and she once left her first pair out in the sun on a hot summer day and they shriveled up and went from a size 7 1/2 to about a size five. When my mom called the company they said this is a common problem and they can't ever be left out in the sun or in a hot car, but they gave her a coupon to replace them for free- so if it happens to you, hopefully they are still doing that.

I purchased a pair of the red and black Mickey head Crocs when i was @ DTD for like 25$ on my last visit to WDW. They are the most comfortable thing to wear on your feet.

Thanks for the reminder - I needed to order the boys new Crocs.

FYI, though - the free shipping right now is only on orders of $100 or more. Also, I tried using channel08 & it's now invalid. I did a quick Google search and found that "fall08postcard" worked for free shipping (& my order was only $50)

I've always been intrigued by Crocs but have never gotten a pair. I don't know which to choose from. What would you get for a man in his 40's?

I have a pair of islanders and looooove them.

I got my husband the Dallas Cowboys ones now all the men in my family wear them. he he he

They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

I found a Crocs outlet in St. Augustine and I felt like I found the Golden Fleece! I got two adorable pairs for less than $30. They had a buy one, get one half off sale. I wonder if it's still going on?

I know a lot of people say that Crocs are ugly, but they have some pretty cute designs. I found high-heel crocs, ballet shoe crocs, flowered flip-flop crocs, etc. For the gentlemen, there are loafer crocs and crocs with laces. I feel like Crocs are the most comfortable things I have ever worn, and I don't care if every human being thinks they're ugly.

I love my Crocs.

Yes they are ugly. But then again so are alot of things. And anything with Mickey heads on them is Ok by me.

Yes, they are comfotrable. I have planters fasciitis and I can wear Crocs without pain.

Yes, I have been known to wear Crocs and socks. No fashon police have arrested me and my toes stay warm.

Yes they are plastic and NO, they do not get stinkey,

I love my Crocs.

My DH has the WORST smelling feet on the planet after they've been stuffed inside shoes all day long. The only shoes that he's worn that doesn't make his feet stink are his crocs!

We wore our crocs on a cruise in 2007 and I was so tickled that my feet didn't hurt and that I didn't have to keep taking my shoes off and putting them back on during our time at the beach. Just make sure that the strap is on your heels! (for the traditional crocs)

I have several pairs of crocs...i've got 2 pairs of the high heel sandals, the ballerina style, mary janes, beach crocs, mickey crocs, and the disney fleece crocs. I wear them anytime I have the chance!! :thumbsup2

I'll go you one better - I've knit socks specially to wear under my Crocs. I love seeing some of the fun patterns/colors/stripes poking out through the holes (or Mickey heads, in the newest pair).

I love Crocs too and we stopped by the outlet mall in Dec - I got some silver Mary Janes and brown Mamoths :cool1:

I wish I could wear them at work but I have to wear safety shoes and the acid we use would probably dissolve them :lmao:

FYI I've heard the gasoline doesn't like Crocs so don't wear them if you're filling up your car:scared1:

My DH likes the Sobeck slide style. He detests the look of most Crocs, but you can't tell these are Crocs. They're really comfortable, too. They were under $20 on campmor.com.

Thanks for this tip! I would have never guessed that they would "melt" in the sun or car!

Thanks to everyone's advice on the DISboards, I decided to get some Crocs for my kids and me. They had all kinds of cute styles, even Hannah Montana (my DD8 loves them)! They were reasonably priced too! I've had mine for a few days now and so far so good.

I've seen the ones on sale at Crocs outlet and they did have some great deals.

Didn't someone mention that Croc's were just a fad in previous posts??? I think it the Orlando Magic were involved in that discussion. :confused3

When I purchased my first pair of Crocs, my 40 something husband hated them! Now he has a nice pair in black and loves them. I forget the style name but it's the one with all of the holes in it. They are so convenient. If they get dirty just rinse them off. I now own 5 pairs, in various colors and styles.

OK. I went ahead and ordered my first pair of crocs - the islander ones. I hope I like them. I'll let you all know.
