Crocs

Today my DD14's friend asked if I had a pair of shoes she could borrow. (They attended their 8th grade dinner dance last night and she forgot her flip flops.) I told her the only thing I had was my crocs. See DD14 and her other friend wear a size 10 & 11. So K couldn't borrow their shoes. Her and I both wear a 6. Well K looks at the crocs and says "NO WAY!!" and "Those are so ugly." Well I told her just to put them on and she did and then she says "OMG mom these are the bomb!!" She's had them on all day. She says she's not giving them back. Now she wants me to buy her a pair. Guess I will so I can get mine back.

I have not been able to go without my crocs for long ever since I bought them, they were great on my Disney trip. Perfect for walking around the pool and water rides. I also wash them with the rest of the laundry.

The ugly thing made me crack up-my thoughts exactly. I tried them on at the store and even with socks on, they are way too wide for me-the toe boxes on the clog style are just huge-either that or I never knew I had narrow feet. Does anyone know if they make a narrow width in those clogs?

I wear the other style crocs-capris and sassaris. I love them, but I love them as much as my non-crocs shoes, for me they are no more comfortable. Still...gotta join the croc bandwagon. In another few years it will be some other fad-hopefully one that is a little easier on the eyes. Now you are too good..buying your DD's friend crocs so you can get your own back! I'd be like-sorry kid, your on your own!

They are ugly but, if people were walking around in those Ugh (sp?) boots a couple of years ago with skirts on I can wear Crocs!

I agree they are ugly, but you can't beat the comfort. Although I can't wear mine for serious Disney walking because my pinky toes get blistered.

I'm not sure if they make narrow styles...you'd have to check the website I suppose.
