I'm going in May and I want comfy shoes to wear, I went to buy a pair of Crocs beach today and there were others looking at them too but they were all teens or young 20's. I'm 42 am I to old to wear these do you think? I don't want to look foolish looking but I want comfort. What do you think. Nancy

You won't look foolish in Crocs at Disney. Everyone has them on there. All sorts of people, all ages.
Just make sure to wear socks with them or you will get blisters!

I am 42 and I wear them. Why would Crocs be considered too young? I mean, its not like wearing a mini skirt or something... :confused3

My son's after school program director wears them, she has 3 pairs and said she has no more leg and back pain. She looks to be in her late 40's.

I'm also 42 and I wear Crocs. They are so comfortable. I'm an RN and they are so comfortable for those 12 hour shifts. I practically wear them everywhere. Enjoy!

Thanks I'm going to go get a pair this week. I haven't seem to many people wearing them around here (Boston) other then young people but I'm young at heart. I already know my sister and mother will make fun of them as they always do but they just don't know how to be hip :rotfl: Nancy

I am 35, but, I don't consider 42 to be "old", I think that you will look in style. Don't worry about it! :cheer2:

My 38 year old Mother is thinking about buying a pair for WDW. I hear they are very comfortable.

i always wear work shoes or boots both steel toe (just got use to it and never hurt my feet when moving furniture for the boss or i mean darling wife)

any way the boss said i should get a pair or normal sneakers but after hearing all the hoop la on the board of these crocks im thinking of getting a pair

yeasterday at the mall we seen what looked like crocks
(komono i think the were called)
i dont remember the store
my wife (AKA boss) said their ugly and she wont ware them
i told here that people on here loved them and she should try them on
(she hates shoes wants to be bare foot)
any way she did and said no way

any way the reason for the post is i want a pair and did anyone ever here of komonos? if so any good? or get crocks also i seen some had back strap some didnt like a slipper withc is better?

I'm 58 and wear Crocs everyday. They are comfortable and easy on my arthritis.

I am over the 40's and I wear lime green cocs! I love the way they feel!

DH wear steel toes every day and he just got his first pair of crocs to wear to and from work! He loves them! I have never heard of the brand name that you mentioned, daddyof2, but I would stick with a known quality like Crocs! Some of the knock off brands are just not the same!

I am 38 and I got a pair JUST FOR our Disney trip in January. BUT they are so comfortable I have worn them to work most days since I got back!! Thank goodness I work in a very casual office. In fact a 50 something year old at work just got her some last week. I say go ahead and get them you'll be glad you did!!

I'm 40 and I wear them all the time- I even have the Payless version in pink/yellow tie-dye! They really stand out.

You're not too old for Crocs- I'd say you're still a spring chicken :sunny: !

I'm 42 and I wear whatever I want!! Age is a state of mind honey and I still feel like I'm young. I refuse to dress like an old lady until I absolutely have to. We're middle aged, not 82 year olds! Until I loose my mind, I'm gonna wear what I like. Maybe I wear what I want 'cause I have lost my mind, hmmmmmmmmmmm? :rotfl2:

I have 4 pair and wear them all the time, including in Winter with socks. I don't agree with the statment that you have to wear socks in order to not get blisters. I started wearing them without socks when I first got them and have never had a blister one.

My crocs work better for me at WDW than my $125 New Balance.
And by the way, I have many, many years you, so no you are not too old.

Hi all,

I have seen you all post about crocs...what exactly is that?? I think they are some kind of shoe...If they are what do they look like...any pics??

thanks confused mom
