Crocs Stolen!

While at Discovery Cove last week my nephew (age 8) had his new pair of Crocs stolen (he got them as a birthday gift just before going on holiday).
He took them off when he went to swim & when he came back out the water they were gone! He was really upset, fortunately though he had other footwear with him that day.

Did he report that to anyone? Most likely someone had a similiar pair, came off the beach, got confused, and thought they were theirs. It is hard to imagine someone knowingly stealing them at Discovery Cove. I would call lost and found.

Yes his Dad reported it.

His Crocs were left with the rest of his family's footwear (he was the only one with Crocs). It was just his that were missing. They looked about for them, checked if they had been handed in & left a contact no. in case they were handed in later.

I too was surprised it happened at Discovery Cove.

Unfortunately it happens everywhere these days!!!!
We were shocked last year when we came out of the Haunted Mansion at MK AT MNSSHP, our stroller had been stolen (it had 2 balloons tied to it and our name written on the back!). Our DD8 was really upset as she had left a couple of Cinderella toys she had bought with her own money in the net storage area that had been purchased that night (a twirly, light up toy and a wand!!)! We told a CM immediately and he sent us to the store where he had called ahead, they re-opened the store and gave our DD replacements for the missing items! Thats what I call 'Magic' service!

ahh- poor little guy. Sorry to hear that. People are just awful. I mean - who wants someone else's shoes. Why would you put your child in someone else's shoes. Glad he had something else to wear.
