Croc's shoe sizes

I'm looking at getting these for ds, who wears a 11.5 xw in Stride rite - which size should I order in Croc's?

My boys wear a 9.5 XW stride right and I ordered 10/11. My friend has a pair in that size for her son and they are a little big on the boys but I want them to fit through the summer and I know the 8/9 will only fit for a month or so before they outgrow them.

I believe the croc website has a "foot" that you can print and you can measure your son's foot for sizing.
