Crocs sandals

After obsessively reading all of the posts about what shoes are most comfortable in WDW, I decided to try the Crocs. I went on their website and found that they have sandals (I think they are the Nile line). I got them yesterday and I LOVE them. Why oh why had I never tried these before?! They are awesome!

I also found the New Balance socks with the arch support to be wonderful . I bought them and wore them this weekend all around San Francisco with no problems. Typically my plantar fasciitis bothers me, but not this time.

Just be careful. My girls LOVED their Crocs until our WDW trip. They bought them at the beginning of summer and wore them continuously and often thought they were the most comfortable shoes ever, but on our WDW trip a few weeks ago they developed (both of them) HIDDEOUS blisters on their feet where the hinges were rubbing. This happened on our first afternoon at WDW. We shortened our day, went back to the resort and just hung out.

Luckily they had their Tevas and Keens to take them thru the rest of our trip.

I am glad the Crocs are helping you now, but be warned they may not be so great at WDW. Bring extra shoes!!

Just a warning, because all I hear on the DIS is how terrific Crocs are.

They seem to work better at theme parks (have worn mine to Dollywood loads of times) if you don't wear the strap on the back.

I Teva'd myself all through WDW last week. As hot as it was, I wanted my feet as nekkid as possible!
When I go back in January however, I plan on taking my Crocs. Especially if it's cold this coming year as it was this past year. I can wear socks with my Crocs, even though it's not quite as stylish!

The only time I had trouble with my (Beach) Crocs was at the Poly beach watching Wishes in the sand. I wore them everywhere all summer and even now during Orientation at my college and they were terrific. I'll be buying more soon
