Crocs Rock, you must try them!

Die hard birkenstock wearer just got my first pair of crocs. they are just as comfy and supportive as birkis but lighter. These are the lightest pair of shoes I have ever seen. As some others have said, the popular "beach" clog style is just a little too ugly so I went to the crocs website to look at other styles. I ordered a pair of the "nile" opened toes sandal style in red. They are really cute with jeans or shorts and right now it's cold so I'm wearing them with socks. Can't wait to wear them to WDW in 4 days! Should be able to leave them on at airport security check since there's no metal in them and they are open toed. I'll be bringing my black birki clogs and nikes as well. My biggest tip to those who are new to WDW is to go for comfortable shoes. Even in the happiest place on earth if you're feet aren't happy, it's hard to enjoy your trip.

I am also a Birkenstock fanatic. I have Plantar Fascitis in both feet, and wearing the Birkenstock sandals (as slippers) along with my orthotic inserts in all my other shoes (bye bye high heels!) has helped immensely (that along with two shock wave therapies!) Anyway, I was wnodering about the arch support in the crocs? I have been reading here about how comfortable they are, and was thinking of getting a pair to wear with jeans, etc. Anyone else out there with my problem, who's tried crocs, and had good luck? I could go and try on a pair, but 5 minutes of walking around in a store won't give me the long term result. I really can't afford to have my feet start hurting again!

Found the fake crocs at Payless for my youngest dd. The smallest they come is a toddler size five. She won't have the real thing! But these will look great in teh "croc family" pictures!

I bought my crocs last summer and I love them! When I was working I was on my feet all day on concrete these helped me so much. I have almost wore them out time to buy a new pair. I also have planters F. I havent tried to put inserts in them not sure how you would on the ones I have. but it doesnt bother me to bad. I plan on purchasing a new pair for our trip. my dd5 just got her 1st pair she loves them too!

I tried on the sandle style crocs that look like slides with a back strap (not the flip flops, not the cayman/beach). I didn't like them at all. You can wear the strap forward like you can on the beach/cayman. They were comfortable...but no more than the cayman/beach style which you can wear with the ankle strap forward/backward.

Received mine yesterday through UPS.....I got the chocolate Caymans. I love them! They are so comfortable. I'm already considering ordering a pair of no-holes Crocs to wear to work.

Ok, so after reading about Crocs on the board I decided that I wanted to try the Caymans! I found out that the local Dillards here sells Crocs - I went tonight looking for the Caymans - all they had were the Beach ( and some others that did not have any holes)- so I bought them! By looking at the website for Crocs if I had ordered on line I would have bought the wrong size! I wear a 7 1/2. The size I ended up was a 6-7! The 7-8 would have been way too big. I did go to Payless but the 7's there were too large and the 6's were too small. Anyway, I had them on for about 2 minutes and bought them because they felt so good - and of all the good things that I had heard on these boards! So thank you! I bought the navy blue - wanted red but they were not carrying that color. Anyway, does anyone know what the difference is between the Caymans and the Beach?

Caymans are sized exactly, instead of spanning two sizes. To be honest, I have one pair of beach and one of caymans and both are very comfortable. The Caymans are a bit snugger (more true to size), but that's about it. Von Mauer carries the caymans..

I went to a local store and tried on the Beach model. It only comes in XS (4-5), S (6-7), M (8-9), L (10-11) and XL (12-13). I normally wear a size 8, and I found the M size to fit well, although the recommended looseness will take some getting used to. They didn't have a black pair, so I went to the Crocs online site. According to the Croc site, the difference between the Beach and Caymen is the Caymen is a sleek and slender version of the Beach. But the Caymen comes in normal sizes - 5, 6, 7, etc. I ordered a size 8. I hope it fits!

I am a nurse and on my feet all day. I had Birkenstocks and swore I'd never get crocs. That changed when a friend finally convinced me to try hers on. I also have a high arch and these shoes do much better than the birks. I tried on some croc flip flops today. I'll get some, but will have to wear them for a while before wearing them at Disney. It takes me a while to get used to the thong between the toes. My 6yo has some and wears them more than his tennis shoes now. When it's going to get really cold (below 55) during the day, I make him wear his tennis shoes.

I never heard of crocs until a few weeks ago. I went shopping today and saw them in the store, they were the kayman. I did not care for the appearance, but they were light as a feather. I actually liked the nile, so I bought a pair. I figured, I would give them a try. Now both my girls want some. Has anyone purchased them for kids?

Seriously, these are the only shoes I wear to the parks and if I could wear them to work, I would! My feet don't get sweaty or sticky in them, and I live in Florida.

In fact, I wore my New Balance tennies to Epcot for a day trip and my feet hurt in a matter of hours. I have gone to 2 parks in 1 day, wearing Crocs, and had no foot pain.

I am currently waiting on my order from No Fear Gear of 2 pairs of beach (light blue and butter) and 2 pairs of flip flops (lime/fuschia and black).
They're ugly, but COMFY!!

I saw the flip flops on the Nordstoms website, but I'm not sure if they have them in stock. They probably do though, they have every other shoe know to mankind in stock.

Edited to add - I just called my DD who is shopping with her cousin at Nordstroms and told her to bring me home a pair - y'all are encouragable!
