Okay, so I finally broke down and bought a pair of Cayman Crocs in Butter. However I need the back strap to stretch a little for it to fit right. The next size up was swallowing my foot. So I decided to buy the smaller size and either stretch the back strap or not use it. How would I go about stretching it?

Then when I got home I thought, "are those little nubbies going to rub my feet raw?" You see, my feet are sensitive like a diabetic's feet. I don't know why... :confused3 I think I have poor circulation in my legs and feet.

So I went to the Crocs website and lo and behold, they have Rx Crocs for diabetics and people with sensitive feet! :woohoo: The only problem is, the ones I bought that fit perfect are size 11. The size 12's were too big. These Rx shoes come in 10-11 or 12-13. Will the 10-11 be too small? I believe the 12-13 will definitely be too big if the Cayman 12's were too big. And the only shipping method seems to be "home delivery" for $9.95. Can they get them to me by next Thursday before our trip???

Should I return the others and risk the Rx ones not fitting correctly?

Will the Caymans bother my sensitive feet?

Someone please help with all my questions...

Thanks in advance! :thumbsup2

I have only bought one pair of Crocs, and because I am in-between their M and L size and they supposedly fit loosely, I ordered the M.

When they arrived, I realized they were fine without the backstrap, but when I used the strap, my toes went right to the front of the shoe. I also worried because the shoe was not supposed to touch the foot anywhere but the footbed when you stand still, and it was touching at the top of my foot.

I read that you could stretch them a bit by throwing them in the dryer for a minute or two, then putting them on while warm so that they shape to your foot a bit. I did this, and it worked very well.

I don't have terribly sensitive feet, but the little nubbies in the footbed are of the same soft material as the Crocs, so they did not bother me at all. I bet the stretching would work for you as well, you just need to figure out if the nubbies are a problem. :thumbsup2

crocks are supposed to be VERY LOOSE. According to the website, NO Pressure points at all.

The best way I have found to stretch out Crocks, is to wear them with thick socks for a few days. The warmth seems to soften them faster and it;'s easier on the feet.

Thanks girls! :flower3:

I think I decided to take these back and try to find the Rx Crocs in stores here. I'm crossing my fingers.

The little nubbies bother my feet too, but the longer you wear them, the less you notice them. I think they wear down or something. I have 2 pair of the beach crocs and the older ones I don't notice the nubbies, but the new ones bug me.

I'm thinking about getting a pair of the Relief Crocs RX because I have flat feet which make my arches ache something fierce when I walk. I'll wear socks with them for awhile until the nubbies soften. I'm not going to DL until November, so that gives me a few months to wear them down.

Crocs are supposed to fit really loose. When I first got mine, I swore that they wouldn't stay on my feet, but I wore them at WDW and didn't have a problem with them staying on. However, when I rode Dueling Dragons at Islands of Adventure, they made me take them off and sit on them because they thought they would fly off during the ride...they were probably right...that was quite a ride!

Oops! I should have said that when I stretched them (warm from the dryer!), I did have a thick pair of socks on. This takes just a minute or two, in case anyone is thinking of trying it.

Amber, if the back strap is detachable, you maybe could stick it for just a quick second in boiling water, then put it back on, and it would stretch to your foot. Kind of like when we have to stick the football mouthpiece in water then have ds put it in his mouth for an exact fit.

Thanks everyone! :grouphug:

I decided to return the Caymans and buy the Rx ones. But someone told me that the new ones take a while to come in the mail, so I'll wait until we get back from DL. :thumbsup2

When I got my crocs it had a note in it from the stating that if you need some room to just pull on the strap some until it fits just right. . . . that is what I did and they are perfect!
