Crocs or Not?

Hi,
I just got crocs a few weeks ago. My feet sweat alot in them. I think I will bring them along to DW, but only wear them around the room.

My hubby is going to try wearing them during the day at Disney. His feet don't sweat in the crocs.

I think crocs are ugly also but I LOVE MINE! I have the Mary Jane style. I have a narrow foot and these aren't quite so floppy. I have worn them in the parks with no trouble. I wear them pretty much everyday.

Thanks for all the replies. I ordered my first pair yesterday. When they arrive I'm going to test them on my treadmill and see how they feel :cool1:

Hi!

I have a question abot fit. I purchased the Disney Crocs size meduim. :woohoo: They fit fairly snug width wise, but around 1/2 inch longer than my toes. Is this going to be ok? I know they are not supposed to touch your feet, right? I have really wide feet, but I dont want to go up a size if they are going to be huge!

Thanks!!

Kara

I thought the crocs looked weird too. I saw a family wear them at WDW in 2005 and said i would never buy them. My parents both bought them, my dad the "crocs" and my mom the flip flop type so i tried them on and fell in love with them. And being that I am a college student, we live on tennis shoes and sandals and now crocs! Between my roommate and I we have almost 10 pairs!! I look forward to trying them out at WDW and hopefully they have the disney ones in stock because id love to get pink ones even tho i already have the pink reg. crocs! I would say between crocs and the nike flip flops, i have a relxaing "sandal" thing down, I'm even wearing mine right not even tho its only 45/50 degrees in PA!!

They are the very low cut socks. Got them at Walmart and they are called 'no show', I believe they are made by Hanes.

Ooo thanks. I looked those up and they appear to be the same kind of socks my mom has worn with mules in the past. I may have to look into getting some.

Although my son brought his to WDW last summer, he only wore them at the pool. He said they were too sweaty and he was getting these dirt things under his feet. He even said it was too hot to wear them with socks so he ended up wearing athletic shoes.

For me, they are not comfortable and do not have the kind of support I need so I went to a running store with very experienced clerks who brought out a fabulously comfy pair. I have "ball of feet" pain and knee pain, but with the shoes I bought I had absolutely NO pain for 8 days! I must add that I did break the shoes in about a month in advance as not to get blisters.

I *love* my crocs! :cutie: I am a children's librarian and I'm on my feet all day long. I wear them to work very often and never have a problem. I plan to wear them on my trip in April!

I only wish I could find a pair of the Disney/Mickey ones!

I got my pink Disney Crocs today and I love them. They are so comfortable. I can't wait to wear them for my Disneymoon later this year. :goodvibes

:cutie: Pretty!

I soooo want those in lime green. Why such a limited choice of colors in the Disney style? I would think there would be a huge market for any color they offered.

Oh you guys corrupted me. I ordered a royal pair of beach crocs two weeks ago, w/Disney jibbitz as a chaser. This led to the bunch of us going to Dick's tonight w/me getting a black pair, my mother getting a pearl pair, my oldest son getting a navy pair. Little guy insisted on orange, so back to the Crocs website I went tonight. We're gonna be getting more Disney jibbitz on our trip in April. And some Disney crocs?????????
Man, I'm a decreasing pooh sizer and I gotta tell ya-these are awesome!!!! Dorky?? Who cares when your tootsies feel this good??:goodvibes

OK, I'm convinced I need crocs on our next trip. Problem though--I have short wide feet & wear compression hosiery because of blood clots. Will this make a difference in slip/slide issues? My New Balance walking shoes are a size 8 1/2Wide; what size would be the best choice? I'm also Pooh sized.

The first time we were at WDW I just wore my new walking shoes (think they were Nike) & didn't have blisters or sore feet. Just very tired feet & legs. I did wear the shoes for a couple weeks first too.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I found mine on Nordstrom.com - everyone else was out of stock. Good Luck :wizard:

I got all of my crocs at dicks sporting goods but my roommate got her mickey pair at www.crocs.com (before she knew they sold them online for the dicks store) I love mine!!! I was just looking at them in the store last night and making my wish list for our trip in May. I'm debating whether I should find the room to pack my tennis shoes but since we're doing ME I might b/c I wont have to worry about getting my luggage!

I found this section on the Crocs website, and thought you might be interested: http://shop.crocs.com/CrocsSubProdu...Id=4&subsectionname=footwear&section=products

Welcome to the Dark Side- mwah, hah, hah!!! (that was supposed to be an evil laugh...:rotfl2: )

I love my crocs. I always had problems with my feet and they hurt when I walk too much, but not in my crocs. I wore them all last summer. I ordered a red and black Mickey pair from dicks and now I'm all set for this summer.
