Crocs or no Crocs in the parks?

Last trip I wore Croc flip flops and mary jane's. I will definately be wearing them again this trip.:thumbsup2

I just ordered my mary jane disney crocs and plan to wear them the whole trip, comfy feet is a must in disney

I couldn't live without my Crocs in the parks (or anywhere for that matter!). I'll bring two pairs, "just in case!" (along with some extra pieces, rivets, etc.). However, the only warning I would give is that if you're traveling in the summer, or any time when it is rainy, that they can be very slippery when the ground is wet. Can't tell you how many times on our last summer trip I ended up slipping around.

I only have the winter clogs and I can't decide if I will take them or not. Prolly tho. I like these cuz they cover your feet. It grosses me out having to see other people's dirty, sweaty, ugly feet all the live long day. Especially when I am eating!

I love my Crocs, wear them all the time at home and to work. That said I don't wear them to the parks anymore. They make the bottom of my feet sore, almost a blister, when I walk a great deal in them. I even have worn socks with them and it does not help.

DD and I live in our crocs at WDW. Those are the only shoes we will wear. They keep our feet nice and happy.

My daughter and I are each bringing 4 pair on our upcoming trip. A girl has to coordinate!

Do it, but if you're walking on the Boardwalk in the morning, be CAREFUL. My mother and I were both wearing them after they had hosed down the wood, and she almost slipped and fell on her butt. I had to catch her, and it almost took me down too.

But your feet will be happy. And they dry pretty fast too, even after getting SOAKED.

Crocs are ugly.

My ex-husband used to clean pools in shoes that looked the EXACT same.
I refused to let him wear them for any other use. This was before they became known for anything other than work utility shoes.

To this day, I am surprised that people are so blinded to the fact that they are hideous. These will eventually go by the wayside, just like fanny packs and tight rolled jeans. Yes, I know people still wear fanny packs... but they always agree that it is not on fashionable terms. With crocs they are still attempting to be "trendy."

Wear a great pair of tennis shoes. Maybe then you won't look back on the pics in 20 years and say "what was I thinking!" (although, those pics are kinda fun too).

Yup they are ugly. And way more comfy than most sneakers. I'm not as fashion concious as I tried to be in my younger days and comfy is surely winning out over good looking shoes these days. Well, for this trip, anyway! Comfy always beats fashion in the parks!:hippie:

Yes on the crocs! Don't care how they look, just that they are the most comfortable shoe for me. DH and I both have several pairs. We wore them at least part of the week. I did wear socks with mine so my feet and ankles wouldn't swell. They are WAY more comfy than tennis shoes to me. But you should wear whatever you feel most confortable in.

After numerous blisters, I found that the best thing for me is to alternate days wearing crocs and good walking shoes. And I do wear socks.

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Yes, crocs are hideous. But I've never found a pair of sneakers that were comfortable after a few hours. Crocs flip-flops are the perfect compromise. The comfort of crocs without the goofy look.

By the way, to whomever suggested tennis shoes, because they were so much more stylish that sneakers - as far as I know, America is one of the only places in the world where there are people who think it is fashionably acceptable to wear sneakers as casual footwear. Most people with any fashion sense save them for the tennis court or the running track.

I agree that they are pretty hideous, but I don't care, I wear them anyway! I refused to by them for years, but I broke down and got a pair for our trip, and now I'm hooked. I switched off between those and some very lightweight, comfy non-athletic sneakers and my feet were in very good shape, even after 7 days of walking.

I understand that people dont wear them for looks but I dont understand why people think they are so comfortable. I have tried them on several times and they dont feel great to me, I dont feel enough cushion underneath. That and they are ugly :).........kidding

I love my Mary Jane Crocs. I wear them around the house, too. I actually prefer them to my bedroom slippers. I plan on bringing my 2 pair with me to WDW, and I'm going to find a pair for my hubby, too (not the clogs, though--yuck;))
